5K in the morning and AC in the night! (Pictures)

This past weekend was crazy for me! It was nonstop from start to finish. And I loved every second of it!!

Saturday morning I woke up bright and early to run a 5K. It was my 4th one this year. I can't believe that I do 5Ks now like this! A bunch of people from my gym ran the race and we all showed up wearing shirts from our gym. It was a great sight to see. 70 plus people wearing shirts from one gym!!

I'm also happy to say that I beat my last 5K that was on Labor Day. I finished a full minute faster!!! I came in at 33:17!!!! Whoo Hooo!! I am so happy with how much I've improved with running. My very first 5K (which was just this past May) I finished in almost 40 minutes. Now I'm getting close to going under 30 minutes!! I cannot wait for that day!!!!!

After the race, I hung out with some people from my gym at a local bar. I couldn't stay long though. I had to rush home, shower and pack because I was going to Atlantic City that night!! I met at my friend's parent house around noonish. We had a great lunch together to celebrate her birthday. Then we were off!

We stayed at Harrah's. We specifically wanted to go to the Pool Bar there. Turns out that night Snooki from the Jersey Shore was going to be there! lol. When we got to the hotel we hung out a little and gambled some. Sadly I did not come home a winner!

Soon it was time for us to get ready to go out! I bought a dress from the Missoni line from Target. It was very short for me! I was really stepping out of the box with my outfit, but I wanted to feel great!! And I did!!! I felt great and I knew I looked good! lol.

The Pool Bar was a lot of fun! We saw Snooki for about 5 seconds there though. But it didn't matter the music was good and the company was awesome. I definitely drank too much though! Also there were so many Jersey Shore wannabes there. It was a little crazy. I was surprised at how many guys were there. Way more than girls that night.

We saw Snooki for like 5 seconds. She said something into a Mic, which I could not understand, and then she was rushed off to a VIP area. Not to be seen again. It's crazy because she probably got paid like $30,000 to talk for one minute there.

The rest of the night was a blur. Finished with me chowing down on curly fries before bed. lol. I never sleep in when I drink. Me and my best friend were up at 7am. Her boyfriend and our friend were still passed out. So we decided to go get breakfast and go swimming at the pool. It was so nice during the day. Swimming was great, the hot tub was even better. It was nice to just relax on the lounges though. It was funny because there was still people there from the night before passed out on the lounges! It was a great way to end my trip in AC.

Here comes the party!

Last weekend I headed down to Atlantic City for a bachelorette party. It was so much fun!!!

Whenever I go to AC I always stay at the Tropicana, but the girls reserved a room at the Hilton. In my opinion it’s the best place to stay. There is a ton of stuff to do and you don’t ever have to worry about leaving the hotel. The Hilton wasn’t bad at all. The rooms were a decent size, but we barely spent any time in the casino there or anything.

We went to dinner at Carmines at the Tropicana. It was delicious. I have never eaten there before but it was amazing. The only thing was it was very expensive, but it was a special occasion so it was fine. While we were eating, another bachelor party came to our table. They were doing a scavenger hunt and asked if they could take a picture with us.

Then they asked one of the other girls if she would take off her bra and give it to the groom to take a picture with. He gave her 30 bucks for doing that!! We were making a lot of noise but nothing too crazy, however the manager of the restaurant came over and kicked us out of the place!! It was good that we were done eating so it didn’t really matter, but I have never been asked to leave a place before! lol.

We headed back to our hotel to play some games. Before we left the Trop though, some of the girls wanted to just play a slot machine. I played one of the poker games and managed to win 56 dollars in like 2 minutes!!!!! I NEVER win when I gamble. I’m lucky to just break even. I was so happy to get that, especially from a quarter game.

Back in the room we played some games and then we were given matching shirts to wear out. The bride got a black tank top that said “Here comes the bride” and the rest of us wore pink tank tops that said “Here Comes the party”. Now normally I really hate when people wear those shirts, but they were pretty cute and I was pretty drunk by then so I didn’t really mind. THEN they made us were little tiaras, and the bride had a giant white crown with a veil. That was a little much but again I was drunk so I didn’t really care. lol. Plus it was kinda fun. Everywhere we went we were stopped by people. Defiantly a conversation started. We walked back to the Tropicana (again: very annoying to walk back and forth) where we spent the rest of the night dancing and just having a great time. We also did a scavenger hunt for the bride, but she barely completed anything. The items we did accomplish were hilarious AND we didn’t have to pay anyone to do it!

It was a great night. The only thing was my feet were killing me. Since my bff was getting tired we left earlier than the rest of the girls. Walking back to our hotel was an experience. My feet were on fire and there was a sketchy ass man following us back!! I almost broke out into a run because he was really freaking us out. I’m just happy I wasn’t alone.

The next day I woke up hangover free (thankfully). It was a blast!! I love going to AC and I can’t wait to go down again.

I heart 3 day weekends!

I love having three-day weekends. The weekend seems to be the perfect amount of time to relax and unwind, but not too much that you get bored. I wish every weekend was three days!!

On Saturday, about 10 of us went to Atlantic City for the night. It was a blast! We stayed at the Tropicana, which is my go to place. It was crazy crowded though. I have never seen so many people in AC before.

When we went out that night, there was an hour wait to get into one of the clubs! We decided to just go to one of the many bars in the hotel. Which I prefer going to, rather than a club that costs 20 dollars to get in and you can't even hear yourself think. Also not being able to sit down unless you get bottle service is a little ridiculous. Anyway, the place we went to was great and so much fun.

Also that night was the first time I ever wore leggings. I was so nervous about looking like an idiot and how I would feel. But, I LOVED my outfit and wearing leggings is literally the most comfortable thing in the world. I loved it so much that I actually went out and bought another pair of them! lol.

Sunday was a raining and gross day, which was perfect for me to just stay home, relax and recover from my night in AC. If I can, I will try and post some pictures up!
